Product photography needs studio conditions to meet
the quality you need for your images.
Dana is doing product photography in her own
studio, but in
special cases, as a very large number of products or with big
and heavy objects, a small studio can be arranged in your location.
The best solution is shooting in the studio, where all the
lights are in place and the accessories are at hand.
Phoduct photography is usually done for magazines or companies
which need to promote their products through catalogues, brochures
or Internet sites.
To achieve a good productivity, the digital photo camera will
be linked directly to the computer (tethered shooting) and
the images taken will appear in a few seconds on the computer
screen.
This way you will be able to suggest any corrections neccessary,
aprove the final image and pass to the next product in the
shortest amount of time.
Most of the product images for the shopping pages in
magazines, catalogues and brochures are shot on a white background
which facilitates cutting it off and integrating the images
in the final layout.
If you need other colors for the background, please ask for
them well in advance of the shooting session.
It is very important for the client to have a person at the
shooting who can explain the specification needed and approve
the images taken.
The images will be delivered as Tiff RGB, at 3872 x 2592 pixels
(equiv. 10 megapixels).
